I am a junior at William Jessup University earning my Bachelors in Psychology.
Experience
-For two years in high school I worked at a tutoring center. I also helped kids I regularly babysat with their homework, or if they needed any extra help in various subjects. -I took the SAT and earned a 1620. (I am not the greatest test-taker and because of this, I had to learn how to study in order to do well. I have accumulated many tips and study tricks to pass on.) -I would like to be a tutor because I've had tutors throughout my school career and I honestly think I would not be as successful without them. I would like to instill the lessons I learned, not just the academic ones, but also the confidence and the importance of asking for help. -My emphasis is developmental, so I am familiar with how kids' brains work at their respective age and development stage. I have completed Developmental Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychology. Along with those, I have taken college level courses in the above listed subjects. -I have worked with kids for over ten years--babysitting and nannying. I love kids and plan on spending the rest of my life helping and working with kids.
